What some of them went through, these are the things that make me honor and respect veterans.

I know what some of them have been through. So I want to just say again that veterans are my heroes.

Among our greatest generation, not all heroes came home to acclaim. Most of them returned to their everyday lives.

Some stories were largely left unsung.
